Gipfel Elektrotechnik GmbH was incorporated at 2015 in Germany. The technical competence is built upon a decade of research at academy and industrial experience. Since then, it has focused on the industrial internet of things (IIoT).

Its first-generation RFID industrial thermometer was launched in 2016, then the second generation two years later. Partial discharge sensors and data loggers followed. Gipfel has laid a groundwork for the performance monitoring of MV/HV substations. These sensor technologies have been reliably serving our clients ranging from power plants, manufacturers, industry parks to public sector customers.

Gipfel has been expanding its capability to cloud-native analysis tools in recent years. Focuses are predictive maintenance, load management and energy cost optimization. Combining the rich experience of service management, an all-in-one platform was launched to close the gap between unattended monitoring and defect management for power assets.
